Word of Warning teams up with housing association Guinness Northern Counties, in a unique partnership that will see a mini-festival of new performance and storytelling taking place in a Manchester block of flats.

Domestic sites seven intimate shows in Cooper House, a 1970s tower block currently undergoing a major makeover.

The partnership isn't coincidental however; Word of Warning's director, Tamsin Drury, is a long-time resident of the building and saw the opportunity to do something interesting with the flats left empty during the refurbishment.

Performances include the already sold-out Mental, one man's story of encounters with the mental health system, a pair of autobiographical tales of growing up in America and finding yourself far from home and a kitchen-sink drama.

Taking place November 8-17 at various times, Domestic is produced by hÅb and supported by Guinness Northern Counties, Cooper House refurbishment contractors City Response Limited and local arts venue Z-arts.
