Off the BlockReading's new professional theatre company Reading Between the Lines will launch with an event that creates four new plays in four days as a "relay".

Writers Angus Barr, Bea Roberts, Chris Lambert and Jim Rastall will each be given 24 hours to create a new piece of writing, each taking its inspiration from the ending of the previous piece. The actors will only see their scripts hours before curtain-up, which will be at 7PM on 26 April at South Street Arts Centre in Reading.

The plays will be directed by Dee Mullins, Hal Chambers, Louise Hill and Sonia Fraser. The company is currently looking for actors from Reading to cast the plays.
