Gary Barlow’s A Different Stage is a one-man show coming to The Lowry in Salford February 22–27.
It premièred at his hometown theatre The Brindley, in Runcorn, Cheshire and is touring 17 dates in three cities through February and March:
Created by Gary and long-time friend and collaborator Tim Firth, he narrates the journey of his life alongside his music.
In a project unlike anything he’s ever done before, Gary will take the audience behind the curtain, with nothing off limits in this special performance.
As part of the group Take That, he won eight BRIT Awards and sold more than 45 million records. He has also co-written and produced music for Dame Shirley Bassey, Sir Elton John and Robbie Williams.
He also composed the score for Finding Neverland, worked alongside Tim Firth on Calendar Girls The Musical and collaborated with Tim and his Take That bandmates on The Band, the stage musical currently being adapted into a feature film.
