Newcastle-under-Lyme’s New Vic is to reveal its stage secrets during an open day.
The Staffordshire theatre-in-the-round is opening its doors to the public on Saturday (13 July) so that visitors can experience backstage tours, sound and lighting displays and interactive workshops.
New Vic artistic director Theresa Heskins said, “We have so much interest from local people about what we do here at the New Vic.
“Our open day promises to be a great day of family fun—it will be a real opportunity to discover more about our made-in-Staffordshire productions.”
More than 1,000 people enjoyed the theatre’s last open day, with people travelling from across Staffordshire, Cheshire, Shropshire and Derbyshire.
The open day takes place from 10AM until 4PM and all activities will be free.
