New Victoria, Woking looking for children for South Pacific tour

South PacificThe New Victoria Theatre, Woking is searching for talented local children to star in the nationwide tour of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s South Pacific.

The roles needing to be played are Ngana and Jerome, the illegitimate children of Emile de Becque. Ngana (female) and Jerome (male) would need to be of a playing age between 7 and 11 years, black, mixed-raced Caucasian / black or similar dark skin tone, with some singing and movement skills.

Also needed is a female child to play Bloody Mary’s native helper who would have the same skills and appearance as, and understudy both the roles of, Ngana and Jerome.

To audition for any of the three roles for the performances at the New Victoria Theatre from Tuesday 10th July to Saturday 21st July, e-mail name, photograph, age and contact details to [email protected] to arrange an audition, which will take place in Woking during the week of 14th May 2012.
