Writehouse

Sunderland Culture’s Writehouse, an evening of new writing for the theatre, will be streamed from Arts Centre Washington in front of a live audience on Wednesday 22 October at 7:00.

This new writing showcase for emerging playwrights from Sunderland and beyond aims to develop emerging writers as part of the Sunderland Stages Writers Project. Theatre Space North East’s Corinne Kilvington directs a professional cast in six new short plays by Jessica Birch, Thomas Kelly, Peter McAdam, Jamie McLeish, Alan Parkinson and Janet Plater.

There will be a live Q+A at the end of the event, which will be streamed on Facebook Live.
