Robin Hood

After the funding of some Qdos pantos by the National Lottery, pantomine returns to Newcastle Theatre Royal in the form of a one-act version of Robin Hood starring Danny Adams, Clive Webb and Chris Haywood with Joe McElderry, Phil Hitchcock, Zoe Birkett and Mick Potts.

The show will run from 19 December to 10 January for 40 performances, with two shows a day until 3 January (three on 27 December and 2 January) with one on 5, 6 and 8 January, two on 7 and 10, and three on 9.

Tickets are £25, £29, £33 and £37 per person. All bookings must be made online and public booking opens on Wednesday 4 November at 10:00 (Friends of the Theatre Royal: Monday 2 November, 10:00 and Advantage Members: Tuesday 3 November, 10:00).

Regarding COVID security, the theatre has issued the following statement:

"In order to ensure our seating is socially distanced in line with the Government's Performing Arts guidelines, we have divided the seats into 'bubbles' of two, three, four, five and six and a couple of single seats, based on patterns of attendance at our pantomime over the last few years. Customers buy the bubble that contains the correct number of seats for their household or support bubble. We cannot change the size or location of the bubbles; if all the bubbles of the size you want are sold out you will need to buy a bubble of a different size."

Full booking and security information can be found in a downloadable PDF.

This is a new production and tickets booked for the original full-length panto, which has been postponed until 2021, are not valid for this show.
