Hits from Broadway shows and films will be on offer when London Musical Theatre Orchestra takes A Night at the Musicals on tour, opening at Northampton’s Royal and Derngate in autumn 2019.
Four West End soloists and a 32-piece orchestra conducted by Freddie Tapner will present songs from shows including The Greatest Showman, Les Misérables, Mamma Mia!, Wicked, Jesus Christ Superstar and The Phantom of the Opera.
Director Shaun Kerrison will stage the evening, with sound design by Avgoustos Psillas and lighting design by Mike Robertson.
A Night at the Musicals will be at Royal and Derngate on Tuesday 22 October. Further dates are to be announced.
