No Pay? No Way!

A hit at Sydney Opera House in 2020, No Pay? No Way!, directed by Bryony Shanahan, has its UK première at the Royal Exchange in Manchester.

Marieke Hardy’s version of Dario Fo and Franca Rame’s original 1974 farce is a contemporary exploration of global economic reality.

A political comedy places two women, Antonia and Margherita, front and centre. The comedy twists, turns and shines a light on urgent issues, the reality of rising inflation and falling wages.

No Pay? No Way! is at the Exchange May 12–June 10.
