Manchester’s Vertigo Theatre production Noir is on Stream Theatre from July 23.
After a try-out in 2017, the original play was set to return last year, but then the world stopped.
Armed with only camera phones, the cast staged the production without an audience and filmed the show... in the style of a black and white movie.
Noir is set in past New York and tells of Veronica Smart, a beautiful but manipulative woman married to a man unworthy of her love. It's not long before she’s spinning a web of lies that will lead to infatuation, obsession, manipulation and murder.
