North East CRF 3 grants announced

Arts Council England has announced the third round of Culture Recovery Fund grants. There are two sections: Continuity Support and Emergency Resource Support. There were 819 Continuity grants, totalling £83,310,052 and 54 Emergency Support grants, totalling £6,216,340.

31 Continuity grants were made to NE organisations but no Emergency Support grants came to the region.

Those who received Continuity grants are:

  • Cap-a-Pie (Newcastle) - £30,616
  • Curious Monkey (Newcastle) – £31,500
  • Darlington Hippodrome - £198,461
  • Liberdade Trust (Gosforth Civic Theatre) - £49,145
  • Mortal Fools (Prudhoe) - £44,000
  • Northern Stage (Newcastle) - £307,000
  • Rural Arts (Thirsk, N Yorks) - £45,000
  • Saltburn Community and Arts Association - £20,185
  • Skimstone Arts (Newcastle) - £26,919
  • Surface Area Dance (Newcastle) - £31,850
  • Theatre N16 (Laurels, Whitley Bay) - £30,500
  • Théâtre Sans Frontières (Hexham) - £18,038
