Casting for A Walk On Part transfer announced
Newcastle's Live Theatre and the Soho Theatre has announced casting for the transfer of Michael Chaplin's play based on the diaries of former Sunderland South MP Chris Mullin, A Walk On Part, to the West End's Arts Theatre.
Comedian Andi Osho joins returning cast members John Hodgkinson, Hywel Morgan and Tracy Gillman, along with previously announced new cast member Joe Caffrey in the production which runs from 19th June to 14th July.
A Clean Break for Wyllie
NE playwright Roz Wyllie has been commissioned by Clean Break, a company which aims to produce new and exciting theatre on women, crime and justice, engage vulnerable women in theatre education, and expose new audiences to the arts, to write a new play. She is part of a group of newly commissioned playwrights which also includes Vivienne Franzmann and Zawe Ashton.
