Northampton’s Royal and Derngate needs “dynamic and committed people” with a range of experience and skills to join its board of directors and help plan its future.
Chief executive Jo Gordon explained, “it’s an exciting time as we develop activity on our stages and in our communities. By sharing some of their time and knowledge at meetings and events throughout the year, board members will have fun, develop their own networks and experience and help us to make a difference to even more people in Northamptonshire and beyond.”
Useful skills include strong connections in and knowledge of communities in Northampton, a knowledge of the arts, experience of working within charity or education environments and expertise in fundraising. Full training and support will be provided for any candidate who meets some of the criteria.
