Alex Kingston and Sarah Hadland star in acclaimed hit comedy Admissions at The Lowry in Salford.

Following success at last year's Edinburgh Festival, Angela Barnes's show, Rose Tinted, stops off at The Lowry in Salford Quays next Thursday.

Sonia Ibrahim, best known for playing Coronation Street’s Mel Maguire, has joined the cast of Hope Theatre Company’s BeMore Martyn: The Boy With the Deirdre Tattoo, which comes to The Lowry in Salford.

To mark International Refugee Week 2019, HOME’s Horizons Festival in Manchester, taking place to next Friday, will celebrate a full programme of theatre, film, art, performance, workshops and debate.

Jnr JB Shorts, as its name suggests, is a spin-off from the popular JB Shorts performed in Manchester for more than 10 years: June 20/21 at The Kings Arms, Salford; June 22/23 at The Way Theatre, Victoria Mill, Bolton Old Road, Atherton.

Oldham Coliseum is staging The Hired Man in association with Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch and Hull Truck Theatre from Thursday to July 6.

Romeo & Juliet—A Grand Romance, at Blackpool Grand on Monday night, is a community co-production between the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Grand that brings together participants from community groups across Blackpool to create a performance piece that responds to the RSC’s 2019 touring production of Romeo & Juliet.
