Several of Manchester’s most exciting young actors are in the cast for the Library Theatre Company’s much-anticipated third and final site-specific production, Manchester Sound: The Massacre.

Written by Polly Wiseman and directed by Paul Jepson, it is staged at a secret city centre venue from next Saturday through to July 6.

With a cast of singers and dancers—including ITV’s Superstar finalist Nathan James—and a live rock band, Bohemian Rhapsody at the Opera House in Manchester next week is a tribute to the music of Queen.

The classic Harold Pinter play The Birthday Party opens at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre next Wednesday.

This was Nobel Prize winner Pinter’s first produced full-length play that went on to become one of his best-known and most popular.

Soul Sister, a new musical inspired by the music, life and times of Ike and Tina Turner, comes to The Lowry in Salford next week following critical and public acclaim since its inception at Hackney Empire.

Soul Sister runs from Monday to Saturday.

A hard-hitting drama, staged by performers from around the region, is at the Studio Salford, King’s Arms, Salford on Monday and Wednesday.

Gemma Flannery, an actor and writer from Blackburn, working with director Charlie Mortimer from Chorley and actors Laura Hills-Leigh from Leyland and Amy Dee from Warrington are the team behind Digging Deep, a play about what we sometimes do to uncover secrets, suspicions and fears.
