In amongst Manchester International Festival, currently being hosted by the city, there’s also Flare15, a week-long international festival of new theatre at the Contact Theatre, Royal Exchange Theatre, Martin Harris Centre and Z-arts from July 13 to 18.
Also, Manchester's Three Minute Theatre is hosting its own Manchester Festival of Arts from 14 to 26 July, featuring poetry, film, theatre, cabaret, comedy, music, radio and workshops for young people.
Inspired by Nordic noir thrillers such as The Killing and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Roseacre follows the story of an undercover police officer caught in a world of lies, betrayal and murder. It’s at Sale’s Waterside Arts Centre in Greater Manchester from July 15 to 18.
