One of the world’s most famous shows, the Moscow State Circus, brings a new production, Miracles, to Manchester Event City from next Friday to February 26, including several daytime performances.

There’s a debut production of A Kidnapping, at Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester this week.

The play whose name has come to describe the kind of emotional and psychological manipulation of domestic abuse—Gaslight—is given a timely revival at Oldham Coliseum.

Theatre by the Lake hosts Opera della Luna on Sunday and Monday with its new production, Tales of Offenbach, from the French master of comic opera. One night later, The Pitmen Poets perform an evening of music, song and stories, illustrated by archive photography. Next Wednesday and Thursday, the venue welcomes back comedy duo LipService Theatre and on the same nights in the Studio the venue also presents Lizzie Nunnery’s new production Narvik.

Reduced Shakespeare Company returns to the Charter Theatre Preston next Wednesday with the little-known William Shakespeare’s Long Lost First Play (abridged).

Made in China launches the new theatre season at the Continental in Preston next Wednesday with Tonight I’m Gonna Be The New Me.

Lancaster Arts sought local musicians to take part in a house band for a theatrical show by Unfolding Theatre—called Putting the Band Back Together—next Wednesday at the university’s Nuffield Theatre.

Showzam! is back in Blackpool next weekend. The resort’s annual festival celebrates magic, variety and live performance over four days of events between February 11 and 14.
