A one-man show aimed at anyone over 18 who has a parent is coming to the Greater Manchester Fringe.

Big Dumb Cats centres around New Zealand comedian Daniel John Smith finding out his mother has cancer one afternoon while at work. From this, a number of anecdotes explore the theme of acceptance—when do we need to just accept something for what it is and when can we change things for the better—and what does either approach do to us as people?

Smith has performed at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival (2015 Best Newcomer) and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival with his show Children & Other Mistakes.

Big Dumb Cats will be at The Crown & Kettle, July 22 to 26.
