Reveal at the Octagon

Bolton Octagon will be supporting theatre-makers and artists across the north of England to produce original and exciting work as part of two innovative schemes: the Supported Artists and Associate Theatre-Makers Scheme, and the theatre’s first Reveal Season.

The first is a 12-month programme, which will mentor and develop two or three artists and theatre-makers from the north of England making site responsive work in private or public spaces.

They will be provided with rehearsal space, technical support, production guidance, access to the Octagon’s props, set pieces, and costume store, marketing support, business fundamentals and income generation, an award of £1,000 to support their development, and the opportunity to showcase their work in the Theatre’s Reveal Season, a two-week Festival of new theatre work inside, outside and online at the Octagon, taking place between June 14 and 25.
