Octagon seeking 24 young cast members

Treasure Island at the Octagon

Octagon Theatre Bolton is looking to cast 24 young people between the ages of 9 and 18 to play pirates and ensemble roles in the 2019 festive production of Treasure Island that will be performed at The University of Bolton Stadium.

Buccaneers and buried gold sail into Bolton in a new stage adaptation.

To apply, confidence in acting and singing is essential as there will be acting, singing and movement involved in the roles. The production will run December 5–28 and there will be two teams appearing on alternate days. Roles will be unpaid.

Two audition workshops will be held at the stadium on September 4 and 5 led by director Tim Jackson.
