Oldham Coliseum Theatre is once again airing a short festive play on its social media channels each day from December 1–24.
Advent Plays are a “little sprinkle of Christmas”, lasting just a few minutes. They are released each morning across the Coliseum’s YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter channels and also on the theatre’s web site.
In 2020, whilst the theatre was closed due to the pandemic, the Coliseum produced the first Advent Plays as part of a package of online festive offers. The series was viewed online more than 29,000 times.
Now, with pantomime back on stage, the theatre’s team has curated, filmed and edited another 24 short festive offerings.
