Manchester-based writer, performer and director Jude Christian returns to the city’s Royal Exchange Theatre with her very own one-woman show, Nanjing, after recently directing OthelloMacbeth at HOME last year.

A "thought-provoking piece about identity and national values in a political climate dominated by Brexit, Trump and the Windrush scandal", Nanjing creates dialogue about heroes, identity and the consequences of war.

This production runs from February 27 to March 2 in The Studio before transferring to Birmingham Rep from March 13 to 16.
