My Jerusalem
The Class Project

Lancaster Arts is presenting two “compelling” one-woman shows in collaboration with The Dukes at the Moor Space in Lancaster city centre.

Each includes a post-show discussion and is presented with strict adherence to COVID safety guidance including 'socially distanced' seating. Tickets are limited and only available when pre-booked online.

Complete online booking before November 20 and receive 10% off adult tickets when you use the code LAEMAIL in the promo code box. Should either be postponed or even cancelled, all tickets will be refunded.

My Jerusalem, on December 3, asks can we go beyond the blame game to really see each other?

It’s a solo performance derived from a song, a politically charged tale of a drunken one-night stand infused with stories of growing up in the turmoil of '80s Israel. With escalation in violence after Trump declared Jerusalem the Jewish capital and questions over antisemitism in the Labour Party, this performance should feel timely.

The Class Project, the following night, is about belonging; places that are in your blood but also the places you adopt. The Guardian’s Lyn Gardner said it’s a thoughtful and moving piece about social mobility, class warfare... and what happens when you lose your real voice.
