The one where they sing: FRIENDS The Musical Parody

Producers of FRIENDS! The Musical Parody are to hold open auditions to uncover new talent who might be able to play Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Joey, Phoebe and Gunther in a major UK and Ireland tour.

FRIENDS! The Musical Parody is a “side-splitting musical comedy packed with all the iconic moments from all ten seasons of the beloved television series”. The production features an original musical score and showcases the escapades of the world’s most famous group of 20-somethings as they tackle the challenges of work, life and love in 1990s Manhattan.

Open auditions will take place in Cirencester and London later in January 2025. Submissions should be made by sending a CV and headshot to [email protected].

The first tour dates are the Barn Theatre, Cirencester (14 July until 23 August), Nottingham Theatre Royal (17 until 20 September), Sunderland Empire (22 until 27 September), York Grand Opera House (30 September until 4 October), Cheltenham Everyman Theatre (6 until 11 October), Wolverhampton Grand (14 until 18 October), Dublin Bord Gais Theatre (21 until 25 October), Cardiff New Theatre (27 October until 1 November), Chester Storyhouse (18 until 22 November), Malvern Theatre (25 until 29 November) and Southampton Mayflower Theatre (5 until 10 January 2026). Further dates will be announced.
