The former home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, where he wrote Hound of the Baskervilles, is to be turned into an event space. Its first outdoor opera will be The Marriage of Figaro on Saturday 16 September 2017.

DFN Charitable Foundation and Undershaw (Doyle's home) will host this charity performance, and Opera Brava will provide the evening's entertainment.

Like Grange, Glyndebourne and Garsington, you can bring along a picnic for the evening, or enjoy the option of a fully-catered event. Applegarth Farm Shop will provide the food for the evening, with all proceeds going towards special needs school Stepping Stones.

Tickets cost £65 or £150 for priority seating with a three-course meal.
