Dr Blood’s Old Travelling Show

After their stage recreation of George A Romero’s classic zombie movie Night of the Living Dead: Remix, digital theatre specialists imitating the dog and Leeds Playhouse join forces once again to stage, outdoors, the premieère of another dark new tale: Dr Blood’s Old Travelling Show.

Imitating the dog brings technical acumen to this live theatre experience, creating a dark tale of mischief and immorality, drawing on classic horror movies and the traditions of carnival and medicine shows.

Set in a mythical 'North' and made for strange times, Dr Blood and his crew tell a tale of the price paid for pursuing ambition, hypocrisy, and greed.

It will be staged outdoors at The Lowry on October 17; at Lancaster’s Square October 20–21; and Belgrade Square, Coventry October 23–24.
