Isolated But Open

Papatango Theatre Company's Isolated But Open Commissions—Voices From Across The Shutdown will include two new monologues from Rachel De-Lahay and Anders Lustgarten alongside ten others chosen anonymously from an open call-out to be filmed and shared and published by Nick Hern Books as PDFs for free download.

Rachel De-Lahay has written Balcony Bonding, looking at neighbours suddenly making long-overdue introductions following self-isolation, performed by Susan Wokoma. Anders Lustgarten's Solastalgia is a reflection on humanity's place in the world performed by Danny Kirrane. These performances will be released at noon on Friday 27 March, ahead of the deadline for submissions at midnight on Tuesday 31 March.

All ten monologues will be shared for free online, each accompanied by a downloadable PDF of the play-script provided by Nick Hern Books, available from 16 April.
