Birmingham-based company Paperback Theatre is to hold an outdoor festival, Little But LIVE!, in Moseley Park to bring together Moseley residents and the wider Birmingham community through a programme of artistic events.
The two-and-a-half-day festival will feature a varied programme in the Chapel of Many, a pop-up venue built originally as part of an installation at Coventry Cathedral.
The aim of Little But LIVE! is to showcase the creative talent Birmingham has to offer and remind audiences of the value of live performance.
The programme includes Paperback Theatre’s “reduced and distanced” retelling of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, directed by Lucy Bird, and Box of Frogs’ presentation of its “anarchic and silly” impro show.
Little But LIVE! will take place from Friday 18 until Sunday 20 September. More events are to be announced. Further details are available at the Paperback Theatre web site.
