Partridge flies into Birmingham for Snow White

“The UK’s biggest panto” is to get under way at Birmingham Hippodrome, with John Partridge heading the cast.

Partridge, well known for a stint on EastEnders and who has been appearing in A Chorus Line at the London Palladium, will play the Prince in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Fashion guru Gok Wan will make his panto debut in Birmingham as The Man in The Mirror.

Stephanie Beacham adds a touch of evil glamour as The Wicked Queen, with Gary Wilmot making his first performance as Dame.

Ventriloquist Paul Zerdin returns to the Hippodrome after an absence of five years to play Muddles; Matt Slack is Odd Job; and Danielle Hope, winner of the BBC talent contest Over the Rainbow, will be Snow White.

The panto runs from Thursday (19 December) until Sunday 2 February.
