The Off-Off-Off-Broadway Company returns to Buxton Fringe with Peaceful, a “taut thriller about guilt, faith and the power of fear” which made its debut in 2012 in Edinburgh.

Peaceful features Laura Louise Baker as Ethel Charles, an old woman living alone in a labyrinth of a mansion, hiding from ghosts she believes to be hunting her. When she calls on the services of exotic medium Mr De Villiers (Jaacq Hugo) to help her make peace with the dead before she joins them, Ethel may have invited a more real threat into her home.

The Off-Off-Off-Broadway Company stages Peaceful in Underground Venues, Buxton on Saturday 18 July at 10PM and Sunday 19 July at 4:15PM.
