Hull Truck Theatre’s Christmas production of Pinocchio is set to appear on Stage 1, November 24 to December 31.
Based on the original 1883 novel by Carlo Collodi, Mike Kenny (The Railway Children) has re-imagined this family favourite for 2023. Working alongside composer and co-lyricist John Biddle, the show will include original music and songs synonymous with Hull Truck’s Christmas celebrations.
Directed by artistic director Mark Babych, it becomes a tale about coming-of-age, loyalty, hardship, redemption and unconditional love.
Pinocchio is recommended for ages 7+.
