The Dukes youth theatre in Lancaster throws open its doors for the new term on September 21 and there are still places up for grabs.

Over the past few years the youth theatre, based in The Dukes Centre for Creative Learning, has been a training ground for young people looking to make their careers in theatre.

Former Dukes youth theatre member Daisy Whalley recently saw her name up in lights as she toured in Shakespeare at the Tobacco Factory’s Romeo and Juliet as the leading lady Juliet.
