Period drama goes pop as Pride and Prejudice (*sort of) joins Jane Austen’s tale of love and marriage in a modern-day musical.

It’s at Blackpool Grand Theatre May 2–6 direct from its triumph in the West End, where it won the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Comedy.

Men, money and microphones will be fought over in this irreverent but affectionate adaptation of Pride and Prejudice, where the stakes for the Bennetts, the Bingleys and the infamous Mr Darcy couldn’t be higher.
