Proto-type's The Good, the God and the Guillotine

The bold and theatrically engaging Proto-type presents The Good, the God and the Guillotine at Contact in Manchester later this month.

A specially-composed score is combined with animation to create a film-noir-like journey through a tangle of relationships and technologies.

Proto-type is a company of multi-disciplinary artists interested in live, devised performance. They are based in Manchester but their work has been performed throughout the UK and internationally.

Proto-type Theater also performs the show at Lancaster University next week.

Following the success of Whisper in 2008 and Third Person: Bonnie And Clyde (Redux) in 2010, this new show features sung performance, animation and a specially composed score played live by a laptop ‘orchestra’.
