The Drum, Birmingham

Birmingham venue The Drum will be closed for repairs in January and February because of heavy rain last May.

The national centre for black British arts and culture, The Drum sustained severe damage to its roof and some internal spaces were flooded.

The venue closed for a day and temporary measures were put in place so that the autumn programme could continue.

Nothing has been programmed for The Drum for the first two months of the new year and the management is hoping to reopen towards the end of February.
