Chris Salt’s play fell will open in London in October and then tour the North of England till the end of the month.
It’s directed by Janys Chambers and will have its London performances at the Barons Court Theatre in West Kensington.
It explores the friendship and challenges between two troubled teenagers growing up in the Lake District.
Cumbrian schoolboy Lyle walks out of his life and up into the mountains of the Lake District. On the edge of a mountain lake, he meets Jake, whose life is as far removed from Lyle’s as possible. Over the course of 24 hours together, they each discover they are no longer sure who they really are or what the future holds for them.
fell’s cast will feature Ned Cooper (Treasure Island, Hall for Cornwall, Spark, Arcola Theatre and The Full Monty, Disney+) and Tom Claxton (A Manchester Anthem, Vault Festival, as well as appearing in SAS Rogue Heroes, BBC and George Clooney’s forthcoming film The Boys in the Boat, MGM).
fell originally toured briefly in February 2020 but was cut short due to the COVID pandemic.
