Hope Mill Theatre in Manchester will stage classic rock musical Rent this summer.
After only five live shows last autumn, the production will run from August 6 to September 19.
The show is loosely based on Puccini's La Bohème and tells of a group of impoverished young artists living, loving and working in Manhattan's East Village under the shadow of HIV/AIDS.
It premièred off Broadway in 1996 and has since been staged all over the world, including in the West End in 1998. In 2005, it was released as a motion picture. Hit songs include the title tune, "Without You", "La Vie La Bohème" and "Seasons of Love".
