Rimsky first for ETO

English Touring Opera will bring The Golden Cockerel—the first work by Rimsky-Korsakov it has ever presented – and a revival of its 2015 production of Puccini’s La Bohème to the Hackney Empire, Poole, Buxton, Sheffield, York, Cambridge, Chester Storyhouse, Snape Maltings, Durham, Eastbourne, Norwich, Exeter and Bath from Saturday 26 February to the end of May with a concert performance of Bohème in Ulverston on 3 June.

It is also performing the Bach’s St John Passion from 21 March to 14 April in Lichfield, Lancaster, Crediton, Cheltenham, Chester, Bermondsey, Sheffield, York, Blackburn and Millom. And for children, ETO will release a learning pack Under the Little Red Moon and an online Firebird, both free.
