RoguePlay reaches new heights with weekly classes

Birmingham physical theatre company RoguePlay is offering weekly classes in aerial circus, contemporary dance and capoeira.

Artistic director Kim Charnock is leading classes in static trapeze and aerial silks for beginners and intermediates on Tuesdays from 5:30 to 7PM.

Performer Anna Simpson will be taking a class in contemporary dance for beginners and intermediates on Wednesdays from 6 to 7:30PM.

On the same evenings, Israel Costa will instruct beginners and advanced performers in the Brazilian martial art of capoeira from 7:30 until 9PM.

Open space sessions on Saturdays from 3:30 until 5:30PM are for people who have been to classes or workshops and want to practise in the company’s studio.

A three-day school from 29 July until 2 August will introduce teenagers aged 16 and above to aerial silks, static trapeze and aerial hoop. Places cost £95 and can be booked through RoguePlay’s web site www.rogueplay.co.uk.
