Romeo and Juliet is staged in Heaton Park, Manchester from July 25 to August 12 by Feelgood Productions.
This 'site-sympathetic' piece transforms the venue into the set for the two star-crossed lovers whose deaths reconcile their feuding families.
The Egerton Family of Heaton make an ‘appearance’ and it is performed by a cast, many returning from last year’s Dream.
The show is fused with Feelgood Theatre Company’s a capella style of music from Gounod to the Stone Roses, with sword fighting and dance.
Most scenes are between 10 to 20 minutes long with an easy walk between.
