Clive Rowe as Mr Badger

Metta Theatre and Exeter Northcott Theatre have confirmed full casting for their new musical based on The Wind in the Willows, opening at the Northcott on 22 February and touring until 1 June 2019.

Clive Rowe will play Mr Badger, X Factor's Seann Miley Moore will play Duck, deaf street dancer Chris Fonseca will be Otter and Let It Shine performer Matt Knight will play Chief Weasel.

Street dance will be choreographed by Rhimes Lecointe and the show will incorporate British Sign Language into the choreography, plus there will also be audio description available for all performances across the tour.

It is Mole's first day in The Willows and her classmates look a bit scary. Surely Mr Badger will look out for her, as streetwise Rattie, rich kid Toad and cheeky Otter teach her the ways of The Riverbank. But when Toad gets locked up for joyriding, the Weasel Clan break into his (lily) pad and it's now only a matter of time before Chief Weasel reveals Mole's dark secret.

The remainder of the cast comprises Victoria Boyce as Mole, Abiola Elunshile as Owl, Treasure Iyamu as Twitchy Rabbit, Harry Jardine as Toad, Zara Macintosh as Rattie and Katherine Picar as Bitchy Rabbit.
