As a legacy of their recent Truth about Youth festival—which saw hundreds of teenagers take over the theatre—the Royal Exchange in Manchester is launching a permanent company for young people to work in all aspects of theatre

Throughout the year, 80 young people will work alongside industry professionals to explore all aspects of theatre.

Becky Hine, Young People’s Co-ordinator for the Exchange, said: “Through the launch of the Young Company, we are giving young people opportunities to work in partnership with theatre professionals to express their creativity and make the Royal Exchange their own.”
