The Wrong Crowd will be offering a range of activities at Stratford

The Royal Shakespeare Company is offering audiences and visitors to Stratford activities for all the family to find out more about making theatre.

Theatre company The Wrong Crowd will be in residence from 20 until 26 August offering a range of activities for families inspired by the current In Stitches costume exhibition at the RSC.

RSC practitioners will also be hosting workshops exploring performance skills including movement, stage fighting, voice, working with text and creating a scene.

On 3 and 4 August budding actors can work over two days to create a 30-minute performance of Hamlet that will be presented to family and friends as part of the summer season at The Dell open-air space.

Former RSC head of wigs and make-up Brenda Leedham will be demonstrating how to create fake bruises, cuts and scars in Blood, Guts and Gore on 31 July and 8 August.
