Coming of age comedy Rubber Ring tours to The Lowry in Salford November 1 to 4. Written and performed by James McDermott, it follows a rural sexually-confused teen who goes on a quest to find Morrissey.

Winner of Pulse Festival’s Suitcase Prize 2017, Rubber Ring is about a Norfolk teenager’s struggle with sexual and regional identity. In 2016, it opened at The Pleasance Islington and this year transferred to The Tristan Bates Theatre in London’s West End prior to a national tour.
