Downton Abbey and James Bond star Samantha Bond will play Muriel Eubanks in the new musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, which has its UK première at Manchester Opera House in February.
She joins Robert Lindsay and Rufus Hound as the conmen Lawrence Jameson and Freddy Benson competing for the riches (and even the heart) of the young impressionable heiress, Christine Colgate played by Katherine Kingsley.
Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is based on the 1988 film starring Michael Caine and Steve Martin.
