Three actors will present a “witty, absurd” take on Arthur Conan Doyle’s creation when they perform The Accidental Adventures of Sherlock Holmes at Buxton Fringe.

Tobacco Tea theatre company is touring Christopher Cutting’s play to festivals across the UK. This Lecoq-style edition of the show was originally directed by Lecoq-trained director Anna Marshall.

A new actor is taking on the role of Dr Watson: Sophie Milnes will join original cast members Jasmine Atkins-Smart (Sherlock Holmes) and Joshua Phillips (Professor Moriarty).

The Accidental Adventures of Sherlock Holmes plays Underground at The Arts Centre on Thursday 5 July at 8:45PM, and Friday 6 and Sunday 8 July at 7:30PM.
