Breathe Out Theatre is touring An Extraordinary Light

Breathe Out Theatre is touring An Extraordinary Light by writer and director Rob Johnston, winner of The 2011 Kings Cross Award for New Writing.

Katherine Godfrey stars in a one‐woman show depicting the life and work of scientist Rosalind Franklin, who in the 1950s played a significant role in the discovery of the structure of DNA, the language of life.

While the three men with whom she worked went on to be awarded a Nobel Prize, Franklin remained all‐but forgotten for decades.

An Extraordinary Light reveals the dedication and determination that drove her to be one of the sharpest scientific minds of her age.

The production is touring tour across the north‐west and elsewhere.

Confirmed venues include: The Unity Theatre Liverpool, Pavilion Arts Centre Buxton, Hyde Festival Theatre, Edinburgh University, Manchester Metropolitan University, Derby University, Buxton Fringe Festival, Smiths Bite Size Theatre, Korova Arts Café Theatre, Oxford Fringe Festival, Brighton fringe Festival, Henley Fringe Festival, Reading Fringe Festival, The Gate Arts Centre Cardiff, and Space @ The Surgeon’s Hall for Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
