Bolton Octagon is looking to meet actors with a registered postcode within 25 miles of Bolton who have at least one professional production credit and/or accredited drama school training.
The Octagon is seeking to reach out to all of the communities that surround the theatre in order to nurture and develop artists. With the recent appointment of artistic director Lotte Wakeham, the venue is looking to widen its knowledge of local actors by holding general auditions on May 27 and 29 at its temporary base at the Market Place Shopping Centre whilst the building undergoes major redevelopment.
They are not designed with a particular production or role in mind, but are an opportunity for local actors to meet Lotte and the team in order to be considered for future opportunities.
