Birmingham’s Blue Orange Theatre has announced that its 2020 panto Sleeping Beauty will go ahead with a reduced number of seats due to COVID-19 safety precautions being introduced by the venue.
Producer James Williams of JW Theatres said, “we’re delighted to welcome Paul Hutton to the team as writer for this well-known favourite which promises laughter, magic and family fun throughout.
“We know that the people of Birmingham are looking forward to panto so we’ve introduced safety measures which we trialled during our recent cinema season. I’m pleased to say that they’ve been well received.”
Casting is to be revealed for Sleeping Beauty which will run from Tuesday 24 November until Sunday 13 December.
