This autumn Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre reframes its Great Hall, interrupting the space with Holding Space, created by Manchester artist Keisha Thompson and designed by Alison Erika Forde.
A poem, a performance and an installation invite audiences to move beyond the grandeur of the hall and take time to look at the building in a different way. Holding Space will launch October 21 when Keisha performs her poem live. Alison’s installation will remain in place for a year.
